Quinnipiac River Cleanup in Southington

SOUTHINGTON -- As part of an ongoing cleanup project begun in the 1980's, Pratt & Whitney will be removing 500 cubic yards of contaminated sediment from the Quinnipiac River next to its former overhaul facility on 45 Newell Street. The river sediment in the river next to its former plant is contaminated with nickel and other non-soluble metals.
