After 10 years, Oyster-ing returns to Greenwich

From March 1, 2009 until the seasonal closing of the recreational Shellfish Beds at Greenwich Point, in early May 2009 (or as posted), the ban on taking oysters has been lifted and the taking of oysters is permitted.
