LIS Sportfishing Class
Capt. Jerry McGrath will teach his "Sportfishing on Long Island" class, a six-week course on Monday evenings from Feb. 6 to March 13 at Southampton College. The course is designed for both novice and experienced anglers and covers saltwater fishing techniques, skills and secrets. Since retiring as a charter captain in Montauk in 1990, McGrath has become a popular and respected instructor providing year-round lectures and seminars at libraries, schools and fishing clubs. This course is one of the most comprehensive ways to gather fishing knowledge. Classes will be from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and tuition is $200.
