Cormorant Control meeting 8/2/05
There will be an informational meeting about comorant control by state biologist Julie Victoria at the Fayerweather Yacht Club in Bridgeport at 7 p.m. The Double-crested Cormorants, a common duck like bird often seen diving for fish or siting on pilings drying it's wings has often been accused of overfishing. The US Fish & Wildlife Service has done numerous studies on Comorant management, all of which can be found on their website.
